October is Down Syndrome Awareness month. This is a time to celebrate people with Down syndrome and make others aware of their abilities and accomplishments.

JLL Ireland (CoolPartner 038) marked this occasion with an enlightening team talk from Therese Coveney. Therese founded The Together Academy, a social enterprise for young adults with Down Syndrome.

On Friday 14th of October, John McMahon and Emmet Hogan from RE:SURE | A Fortus Company will be sleeping out in Dublin for just one night to shine a light on homelessness in Ireland and raise vital funds for Focus Ireland.

The collection crew at Greyhound Recycling do meaningful work, collecting waste for nearly 1 million people in the Dublin area. A typical day starts at 5 am.

Helpers were surprised on Monday morning when a mobile coffee van joined the early shift to celebrate St Mary’s day and serve hot coffee and pastries.

ast Thursday, to celebrate Nature Conservation Day 2022, Decathlon Ireland (CoolPartner 034) hosted a local clean-up in Poppintree Park, Ballymun.

The day was a massive success, with over 8 large rubbish bags full of collected litter in the park.
