JLL Ireland (CoolPartner 038) marks Down Syndrome Awareness month with Together Academy

October is Down Syndrome Awareness month. This is a time to celebrate people with Down syndrome and make others aware of their abilities and accomplishments.

JLL Ireland (CoolPartner 038) marked this occasion with an enlightening team talk from Therese Coveney. Therese founded The Together Academy, a social enterprise for young adults with Down Syndrome.

The Together Academy is a unique college and social enterprise café in Dublin, which will provide people with Down syndrome specialised certified training, on-the-job experience, future work placements and a critical social and support network. JLL Ireland is delighted to have partnered with them on several occasions and looks forward to supporting their important work in the future.

JLL Ireland is the Dublin-based operation of the world-leading Global brand JLL. We provide real estate services locally and across the globe to a range of different industries and sectors. Locally our services include traditional agency teams, Capital Markets including PRS, Land Advisory Healthcare, Valuation & Advisory, Property Management, and Project & Development Services.

The corporate catering for the talk was provided by the students of the Academy. Luckily, the JLL team got a quick photo, as it didn’t last very long!
