This is Cloudforest 5 Mountoven, Camp, Co Kerry on the wonderful Dingle Peninsula. The site is over fourteen acres sweeping down to the sea just off the main Tralee to Dingle road at Mountoven.

Situated at the turn-off to Castlegregory with panoramic sea views across to Banna Strand and Fenit, this forest creation site is truly spectacular.

It was a busy month for most of our Cloudforest-Sponsored Community teams, even with bye-weeks, international campaigns and everything in between.

We have been working with the team at Axis Communications to Make Planet Earth Cool for the last year. It's been truly a pleasure working with the Axis Communications team over the previous year. They are CoolPartner 003 and have been supporters of the Cloudforests mission from the very beginning.

Last week, we took a trip down to Clare for site visits & to give one of our CoolPartners a tour of Cloudforest One. It was a short, but productive trip. We shot plenty of great content as well, and put some things in place to prepare for our next visit down.

We are excited to announce our sponsorship of the Na Deise U15 ladies' football team. Based in Modeligo and Touraneena, County Waterford, Na Deise field teams from Under 8 up to adult. Their adult team competes at the Intermediate level.

On Saturday, Shelbourne Football Club (CoolPartner 020) hosted the annual Pride Cup match, contested between a Shelbourne XI and the LGBTQ+ inclusive football club Dublin Devils. The event, in its fifth year, was played at Tolka Park.

Taking its name from ‘Inis Diamain’ (generally translated as ‘Diamain’s River Meadow’) Ennistymon is located on the River Cullenagh. With a rich history and picturesque surroundings, Ennistymon is a charming town located on the west coast of Ireland in County Clare.

Although Larches aren’t native to Ireland (or Britain), it is relatively commonly planted in Ireland. The European Larch is native to mountains of central Europe, upland areas in France, Germany and Austria. Larches have woody trunks & stems, needle leaves and a waxy coating that keeps the leaves from losing water which is all characteristic of conifers. But, unlike other evergreen Conifers, they are deciduous, meaning they drop their leaves for part of the year. It is known to be the only deciduous conifer in Europe & the majority of deciduous conifers in other continents are related to them in one way or another.

Congratulations to Mike from Seakel Fire & Security (CoolPartner 002) who is a part of a team of 20 cyclists (8 back-up) on a 700km charity cycle from Nantes to Lourdes raising funds for Cliona’s Foundation and the Limerick Lourdes Invalid Fund.

Carrigaholt is a beautiful place to visit at the best of times. But, now as we announce our Red Wood site for Shelbourne FC being located only a few minutes outside the village, we think it’s the ideal summer destination for not just Shelbourne fans but for anyone in the CoolTribe!
