So what next?

  1. When you’ve completed your membership form and your payment has been received, within 7-14 days we’ll send you your membership certificate and digital badges for your website or email signatures. Some partners even use our logos on their fleet, to show off their green credentials!

  2. Send us your company logo, and we’ll also list your organisation on our CoolPartner page, with a link to your website.

  3. We’ll add you to our regular newsletters to keep you up to date on our projects. Let us know if there’s other employees such as Sustainability Officers or Internal Comms team who should also receive those updates, to share with all your employees!

Payment FAQs

  • You’ll receive an email with a link to finish setting up payment for your subscription.

    A new subscription of €499 ex VAT per year will then be set up to your organisation's name - this will be collected automatically each year until such time as you cancel your membership.

  • Unfortunately not.

    To ensure your membership goes towards what's really important - reforestation projects to cool the planet and help fight global warming - we try to reduce as many administration costs and processes as possible.

    So our membership is now a simple sign-up with an annual payment collected directly from your bank to reduce unnecessary fees.

  • Yes, your payment is collected annually, so if you wish to cancel your membership, just let us know before the renewal date.

    Your CoolPartner membership will then expire on your renewal date.

    Please note, we do not issue refunds for partial years.

  • No, there’s no lengthy contracts for your membership - we simply divide our carbon sequestration figures between the active CoolPartners each summer.

    So if you decide at any point you no longer want to be a CoolPartner, you can just cancel your payment subscription and we’ll reallocate your share of the carbon savings.

Other FAQs

  • Your membership fee goes towards our reforestation and nature-based projects, funding forest creation along Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way.

    Each summer, we release our Impact Report that lists all of the active partners and the impact our projects have had to date, for you to plug into your own reports.

    As a member, you will receive an annual certificate outlining the total number of trees planted to date, and an estimated carbon sequestration figure.

    You also have use of marketing collateral and exclusive content from our forest locations.

  • Yes, absolutely!

    If you have a budget allocated to green projects, we can talk with you about sponsoring individual projects within our sites.

    Examples of additional projects we've done in the past include:

    • A wildflower meadow in Cloudforest Four

    • An Orchard and our Gift Tree Grove in Cloudforest One

    • Our work with NIHBS beekeepers to conserve the Irish Honey Bee population by safeguarding hives and habitat within our sites.

    • Large tree bundles on Cloudforest Five.

    We're working on some exciting projects at the moment, such as ponds and monitored kestrel boxes - so let us know if you'd like your business to get involved!

  • Yes, we're working on this at the moment.

    Once we've received your membership fee and finished setting you up as a member, we'll give you access to the member's area.

    In here, you'll find exclusive content from our forests, marketing collateral, and we're hoping very soon, to add a members marketplace where the CoolPartners can offer each other exclusive discounts on their own products, or partner up with each other!
