CLOUDFORESTS X SHELS ACADEMY

Here at Cloudforests, the community is at the core of everything we do. This is why we have placed a special emphasis on our Community Teams.

As part of our continued partnership with Shelbourne Football Club, we are now sponsoring 4 of their Academy Teams; The U-15, U-17s, and U-19s Men & the U-17s Women. All of these teams play in their respective SSE Airtricity League underage league.

 

U19 Men’s

  • Shels WU-17 Take Part in Demonstration For UEFA Share delegates

    This month, the U17s Women’s Team had a great evening in the Sports Ireland, National Indoor Arena.

    They were participants in a coaching demonstration by Irelands National WU16 Head Coach Tom Elmes, which he delivered at the UFEA Share event, focusing on Women’s Football - Elite player pathways with UFEA delegates from all over the world.

  • U15s @ The East Mallorca Cup

    Last Thursday, the 14th of April, the Shelbourne u15s National League Team, sponsored by Cloudforests arrived on the Island of Mallorca for the international East Mallorca Cup.

    In the group stage, they faced local teams like CD Serverense & CD Cide, as well as Japanese side Forza Aichi. They also faced the mighty Athelico Bilbao in the first round of games. After winning 4 of the 5 group games they reached the 1/4 final of the cup. In the Quarter Final, they faced none other than European Giants and one of the biggest clubs in the world, in Barcelona.

    Despite losing this game, the U15s made both their club and Cloudforests incredibly proud and we hope they enjoyed every second of what was an incredible experience.

  • Wishing David Toure a Speedy Recovery

    All of us here at Cloudforests would like to wish Shelbourne U19 Men’s player David Toure a speedy recovery after he suffered a broken leg in Sunday’s game against Drogheda.

    We know he'll be back stronger in no time & we’re with him all the way!
