Designed by Verge Sport, our new Jersey has retained the Green colour which represents our goal here @ The End Team, to promote Cloudforests in their mission to ‘Make Planet Earth Cool’.

There is no doubt about it; forestry is an underutilized weapon in the fight against Carbon Emissions, especially in Ireland. This point has recently been underlined by Forest Industries Ireland (FII), who have said forestry could potentially provide over 300 million tonnes of additional carbon dioxide (CO2) sequestration by 2050

In 2021, our team leader, Paul, took part and won the Wild Mayo Ultra 650 race and also completed the entire Wicklow Way out and back in the fastest known time of 20 hours unsupported.

Shelbourne FC has today launched the world’s first forest dedicated to a football club – the Red Wood, as part of a significantly expanded partnership with Cloudforests.

We have big plans for our Cloudforest teams next year. One of the big successes of 2021 was our Endurance Team led by Paul Caldwell. The team is going to be taking part in some amazing events next year and will bring the Cloudforests message to a whole new audience when they take part in the Highland Trail 550. A huge focus of the Team in 2022 will be to promote sustainability through cycling.

On the 2nd of February 2022, our CoolPartners are going to come together on the Loop Head Peninsula to create our first community forest for the planet.

Every month we visit Cloudforest One and record a video archive to assess how the site is progressing- here is our November 2021 update. This site is in the heart of Lahinch, Co. Clare.
