Carrigaholt is a beautiful place to visit at the best of times. But, now as we announce our Red Wood site for Shelbourne FC being located only a few minutes outside the village, we think it’s the ideal summer destination for not just Shelbourne fans but for anyone in the CoolTribe!
The Location Of The Red Wood Announced As Carrigaholt, County Clare
We are delighted to announce that the Red Wood, created by Shelbourne FC, will be located in Carrigaholt, County Clare. This Forest is a new chapter in the illustrious history of Shelbourne.
The Red Wood has been growing digitally since the beginning of the 2022 season, but we are now delighted to finally release the real-world site of the Forest on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Red Wood - a partnership Cloudforest with CoolPartner 020 Shelbourne Football Club is digitally growing online. On The 6th of June we will reveal the real-world location for the RedWood.

The literal Irish translation for Lahinch is ‘Half-Island’. This name comes from the unique geographic location of Lahinch, with the Atlantic Ocean to the west, the River Moy to the South & the Inagh River to the north of the town.
