🌱 1. 4,000 New Native Trees from Our CoolPartner Community
Our CoolPartner Community has committed to planting 4,000 additional native Irish trees across three restoration sites — Cloudforest Three, Cloudforest Four, and a new Shannon Estuary site at Querrin — deepening our collective impact on Ireland’s natural landscape.
🌳 2. New Woodland Site at Querrin — 9,000 Trees Coming Soon
We are pleased to announce we have acquired a new native woodland site at Querrin, a historic coastal village on the Loop Head Peninsula overlooking the Shannon Estuary. This site will become home to 9,000 native trees.
💨 3. Multi-Year Carbon Validation with Origin Xero
We’ve entered into a multi-year agreement with Origin Xero to validate our carbon impact and generate verified carbon credits, beginning with Cloudforest One. This ensures our projects meet the highest standards for transparency and measurable climate value.
🌿 4. Introducing Druath — Investing in the Future of Cloudforests
Launching in 2026, Druath will give our CoolPartner community the opportunity to invest directly in future Cloudforest projects — scaling our collective climate action and tackling biodiversity loss through shared ownership and impact. www.druath.com
🌲 5. Expanding to Inagh — Cloudforest Seven & Eight
We’re finalising the purchase of two new Cloudforest sites at Inagh — marking the arrival of Cloudforest Seven and Eight. One is a 10-year-old Sitka spruce plantation to be restored under our CFC programme, while the adjacent site will become a 10,000-tree native woodland — advancing both rewilding and restoration.
🐦 6. BirdWeather Acoustic Monitoring Now Live
We’ve gone live with a BirdWeather acoustic monitoring PUC at Cloudforest One, capturing bird activity and biodiversity in real time. It’s the first step in a wider rollout across all Cloudforest sites — giving everyone a live window into the sounds of our growing forests. 🌲🎶
⚡ 7. Net Zero Platform Launching in 2026
In 2026, we’ll launch our Net Zero Platform, connecting people and businesses with trusted partners in renewable energy, energy management, efficient travel, and verified offsets — helping every CoolPartner achieve their net zero goals with confidence and transparency.
